Direct Care will provide participants with the skills and knowledge needed to obtain employment in a facility for disabled individuals. Intern placements are held on site at one of the RHA Howell Care Centers. Participants will receive training in the following areas:
- First Aid & CPR
- NCI ( North Carolina Intervention
- Basic clinical Knowledge
- Understanding developmental disabilities
- Abuse and Neglect
- Client confidentiality
