Welfare Reform Liaison Project (WRLP) is non-profit faith based organization that provides low- income families with an opportunity to access name brand toiletries and household items by paying a low administration fee.

Some of the items at the Liaison Distribution Center

Diapers, bladder control products, toilet tissue, dental floss, napkins, personal care items (such as nail polish, lipstick, hand cream, foundation, eye-shadow, blush, mascara, shower gel, lotion, body spray, foot soak), paper products, household items, clothes, cleaning and other household products. Note: Availability of items are subject to change

WHO IS ELIGIBLE AND WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

  1. Adult recipients of Medical benefits with a current Medicaid card and a valid picture ID. If the adult is not on the card they must have a referral from DSS. The adult must be payee on the child’s Medicaid card (bring a valid picture ID).
  2. Recipients of Food and Nutrition Benefits (food stamps) with an approval letter from DSS or a letter showing your case is active and a valid picture ID
  3. Active cases in other program areas (Child Day Care, Services Intake or Child Welfare) must obtain a referral from their Social Worker.
  4. Seniors over 55 may apply to join the Senior Program. Membership is 1 year with a $12.00 money order ($1.00/mth) and a valid picture ID
  5. Non-Profit and Faith Based agencies that apply and are accepted as a WRLP Authorized Agent.

HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?
There is a minimum $20.00 administrative/handling fee required to access the merchandise in the Distribution Center. Clients can choose any reasonable quantity within the set limits and guidelines of items.

HOW DO I PAY THE ADMINISTRATION FEE?
Welfare Reform will only take MONEY ORDERS; no cash, checks or credit cards.
